The profiles/ tests that we cover in this package are:

Arthritis Profile :
This profile helps detect Rheumatoid arthritis at an early stage. Rheumatoid arthritis, if detected early, can be controlled without much loss of normal joint function. However, if treatment is delayed it can lead to permanent joint abnormalities and loss of function.

Serum Ferritin :
This test helps estimate the amount of iron in the body. Iron is important for red blood cell production. Low Ferritin shows iron deficiency, which causes anemia. Iron deficiency could also give an unhealthy texture to the skin, especially facial skin and hand. Symptoms of anemia include chronic fatigue / tiredness, weakness, dizziness, headaches, pale skin (pallor) and balding. Once diagnosed, it can be corrected easily.

Folic Acid :
This test estimates the level of folic acid in the blood.  The body requires folic acid to produce healthy red blood cells and prevent anemia. It is also required as a part of many body processes and is important for absorption of iron from the food taken normally. It is an important factor for growth.

Cardiac Risk Markers :
This profile measures the likelihood of the individual getting a cardiac attack/failure in the near future. Once recognized early simple lifestyle changes can ensure an enjoyable and normal life. But if left unattended, these can lead to serious cardiac disorders.

Electrolyte Profile :
The electrolyte profile is an indicator of the health of the brain, heart and digestive functions and is also involved in all body processes. The electrolytes help to maintain a proper internal environment within the body. Disturbances, even minor, in the electrolytes can have severe effects on the heart.

Pancreatic Profile:
The pancreas is an organ behind the stomach. It produces digestive juices that empty into the small intestine. The pancreas also produces both amylase and lipase, as well as many other enzymes. Inflammation of the pancreas, also called pancreatitis, commonly causes high levels of amylase and lipase in the bloodstream.

Vitamin Profile:

Vitamin B12:

Vitamin B12 is an essential nutrient that plays a crucial role in maintaining healthy nerve cells and red blood cells. A deficiency in Vitamin B12 can lead to a range of symptoms such as fatigue, depression, and memory loss. The Vitamin B12 test is important for diagnosing a deficiency in this nutrient and ensuring that it is being absorbed properly by the body.

Vitamin D Total:

Vitamin D is important for maintaining strong bones, boosting the immune system, and regulating the absorption of calcium in the body. A Vitamin D Total test helps to measure the amount of Vitamin D in your blood and determine if you are getting enough of this important nutrient.

Thyroid Profile :

The thyroid glands, directly or indirectly, control all body functions. Deviations must be shown to a doctor immediately and treated. Thyroid dysfunction, if untreated, can cause severe hormonal disturbances, disturbances in menstrual cycles, infertility, impotency, dry and brittle hair and weight loss. In children it can result in disturbed growth.
